My little cousin just texted me, all upset, because this punk is picking on him for being into anime and manga. He’s not upset that this guy is pointing out that he likes it but because the kid is telling everyone that only porn addicted losers and freaks like them. I’ll be the first to say that normal folks like anime and manga. I actually know some normal folks who are all up in anime and manga. Not many, but some. LOL I give my cousin the good old who gives a shit what that loser thinks speech along with telling him to go to an adult if the kid won’t leave him alone. How does he respond? By sending me a pic of this “kid” who is picking on him, like I can haul my ass to MS and do a hit on him or something. I notice that this isn’t a kid but a 20 year old in the picture and that I KNOW this punk. Stupidly I text back and tell him that this guy has no room to talk because he was in a yaoi panel with me a couple of years ago. AWKWARD. >.< My cousin replies “I SO did not want to or need to know that.” It took me a second to process that he KNOWS what yaoi is because his response was so fast. I just took this kid to his first con last year. Not that I would have a fit but it makes me wonder if he was reading yaoi. Yeah…

I got a really nice refund on my taxes this year. I had a plan of just letting it rest in my bank account to give me a bit of a cushion, bill wise. I thought a little while and decided that I deserved at least a little something out of it all. I started with trading my old original Nintendo DS in on a new 3DS and got a few games. Ok. I should have stopped there. Did I? Nope. I decided I could go ahead and get the dvd/blue ray combo of Black Butler, Season 2 and of course I found a cute notebook and I got #2 in the Finder series. Stop now? No. I got an email from Akadot for a sale and I picked up the rest of the Finder series, or at least what’s out in the states. Then I got sick of not having any anime mags here at home so I ordered the current NewType and back ordered last month’s as well as a BexBoy Gold and a June. Stop now? Nope. Bath & Body Works sent an email for a buy 3, get 3 sale from which I purchased just over $100 worth of shower gel and lotion. I think I need help. Retail therapy was always my favorite therapy. I AM feeling MUCH better but my money is going fast. Ugh…
